As an underwater photographer, my photographic practice seeks to develop a deeper understanding into what happens both physically and psychologically when we become immersed within a space where temporal and geographical ties cease to remain. My work explores the way in which the breath embodies the fragile balance between life and death. The images in ‘One Breath’ are created underwater at night. Enveloped in darkness, each image encompasses a single breath of the sitter.
