Jenny Ekholm uses photography, video and sound to look for a space where new meaning is created. The close resemblance that these mediums have to what appears as real is what makes them powerful in creating a rupture between the document and fiction. By deconstructing ideas created through experience and perception the work proposes a state that is not yet there; a potential, parallel world.
